Golden ratio in my art

Ever since 1996, when I made my first sketches for the art cycle „Getting out into the Light“, the golden ratio and the Renaissance frame have both been inevitable elements for me in building a composition. The main reason is the fact that the whole Universe is based on the golden ratio principle, and that we are, consciously and subconsciously, preordained to view world around us in this perspective.

My art choice is to respect and apply natural laws regarding perspective of shape, perspective of color, contrast, and all of the laws regarding relationships of light and shadow, orientation of the Sun... as well as the obligatory art elements as drawing, composition, plasticity, and color complementarities. The golden ratio is compulsory in my art because I regard it as a law of nature.

By this animation, I tried to embody my view of the golden ratio since the beginning of the world; but this is merely a surface, merely a hint, while the essence is hidden somewhere in the foundations of the golden ratio, in ideal proportions, and in absolute perfection of the world and its creator.
